Cross Channel Communications:

TREE AID x FFERN

As a follow up to the rebrand of Tree Aid, I was also tasked with coming up with a cross channel communication brief.

This brief focused on 3 key elements: raising awareness, generating funding, as well as establishing a distinct brand identity. The proposal focused on a collaboration between Tree Aid and Ffern, a U.K. based fragrance brand known for its sustainable practices.

Testing the Visual System through Cross-Channel Communication

For this part of the project, I had focused on creating a proposal for a collaboration between Tree Aid and Ffern, a sustainable U.K. perfume brand. The proposal focused on creating an exclusive fragrance using Frankincense essential oil harvested from the Frankincense trees grown through the Green Wall project. The key objective was to show people that saving the planet didn’t just have to involve losing the bare necessities.

Currently, the tone of the conversations around climate change is negative and hopeless. This causes people, especially the youth, to avoid campaigns related to climate change.

This approach focuses on showing people the small daily habits we get to protect through saving the plant. We are allowing people to make a choice out of personal will and gain, not societal obligation.
